Drink-driving: What are the rules?

In Switzerland, you are not permitted to drive if you have a blood alcohol level of over 0.05%.

Good to know

Professional drivers, new drivers (probationary driving licences), learner drivers, driving instructors and persons accompanying learner drivers are not allowed to drink at all. They are subject to a limit of 0.01%, because if they have eaten fruit, this can also lead to alcohol in the blood.
