    Online lost-and-found easyfind.ch

You can report lost property online on easyfind.ch and check whether your lost item has been handed in at one of the participating lost property offices. The more specific you can be in describing the lost item, the better chance you have of getting it back.

If you have registered your item with the easyfind.ch online lost-and-found office and attached an easyfind code sticker to it (subject to a charge), you do not need to do anything – you will be informed automatically when the item is found.

If you find something and don't know who it belongs to, you are legally obliged to hand it into the office responsible. See under "I have lost an item – where should I look?".

If you find an item with an easyfind code sticker, you can send the owner a free message on the website. However, you can also hand in the item to the nearest lost property office.

    Keeping items you have found

If you find something and report or hand it in to the appropriate office, the owner has five years to collect their property. After this period, the object that you found becomes yours.
