1 / 0
Use the pre-printed ballot that you receive in the mail with your voting materials. It lists all the official candidates in your canton standing for election to the National Council. Choose one person from the ballot and put a cross in the corresponding box.

Fill out the ballot

Check your ballot

For your vote to count, be sure to:
  • use only the official ballot you received with the voting material

  • write in the cross by hand

  • not make comments or draw on the ballot

Submit your ballot

Put the completed ballot paper in the ballot envelope provided (NW) or the correct part of the envelope (OW) and sign the polling card. Then, you can either:
  • vote by post using the mailing envelope provided,

  • put the envelope in the special mailbox of your commune, which is usually located at the city hall or

  • personally deposit the envelope at the ballot box by going to the polling station on election day.
